Overview: Titan
Poker uses the same iPoker network player base as
Noble poker and CD Poker. They have a such hugh number of
people playing on Titan Poker. That means you’ll
always find the game you want to play, and usually
with very little waiting for a spot at a table.
Having so many players also means more unskilled
players to take advantage of, although the quality
of play will certainly vary depending on the game
and stakes.
Games: Titan Poker hosts tables for
Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha H/L, Seven Card Stud and
Seven Card Stud H/L. There are limit, pot limit
and no limit variations available for Hold’em and
Omaha, only limit for Stud. The no limit and pot
limit games are identified by their maximum
buy-in, which range from $25 to $1,000. The limit
games range from $.50/$1.00 to $30/$60 in Hold’em,
and don’t get quite that high for the others.
Tournaments abound, including single table
tournaments, and range in stakes from $5+$1 to
$200+$15. Big money tournaments can be found daily
and the single table tournaments fill up very
quickly.
Software: Titan Poker has fast and stable
software withcolorful graphics with your choice of avatars
to choose from. The site offers good sound options, easy navigation prompts and greatfunctionality.
Players: With so many players there are
obviously a lot of unskilled ones, but there are
definitely sharks lurking in the mix. The lower
limits are filled with weak players who don’t seem
to realize the software comes with a fully
functional fold button. This makes for good
fishing, but also occasionally increases the
number of bad beats you’re likely to experience.
As you move up in stakes the player skill level
gradually increases and your chances of seeing a
shark increase as well, but you aren’t likely to
ever sit down at a table full of pros. In general,
the players are considered to be of below average
skill when compared to an average of all poker
sites.
Bonuses: Titan Poker offers regular reload
bonuses, usually one per month or more. The terms
vary, but are typically a 20% bonus on your
deposit with a maximum bonus of $100, sometimes
$200. To clear bonus money you need to play a
certain number of raked hands per dollar.
A raked hand is any hand that you were
dealt cards and a rake was taken from the pot. You
do not need to contribute money to a pot for it to
qualify.
Banking Options: Titan Poker supports many
deposit options, including VISA, MasterCard,
NETeller, FirePay, Bank Wire, Citadel and many other methods.
